Lotsa rain here! But it’s a great day to start a new still life. Especially with a favorite plant: the “Pink Princess” I’d bought a few weeks ago at the grocery store. This time I dug out a couple of cat teapots. The black one I bought as a newly-wed, way back around 1979. One of the ears has a chip. I blame my ex-husband for that one. Ah, but we won’t go into that….

Yes, I’d said “lotsa rain”. Here’s what the front entrance of my studio looks like today. Good thing my boots are water-proof. And yes, I carried my sweet Picasso back to the house so he wouldn’t have to suffer….
