It was a good day to work on this. We had snow (again!) and most of the day it was quite cloudy. So I hunkered down and painted leaves today. The darkest dark greens were a mix of thalo green and alizarin crimson. No black….
Meanwhile, my “new” cat, Mr. Kitters, snoozed in a windowsill all day. That figurine on the left was an estate sale find. It’s some kind of shaman figure from Papua, New Guinea. Hmmm…. maybe someday I’ll use it in a painting.
