As soon as I started trying to set up a new still life, Picasso decided it was a great spot for a nap. Oh well — I couldn’t have gotten very far with it because of the glaring sunshine. At least I got a good tablecloth and the basic setup. Made a special trip down to Meijer’s this morning to buy some dragon fruit. I’d been dreaming about them lately, so I take it as a sign that I need to paint them.
If nothing else, it was a perfect time to sketch some cat paws!
Rain’s in the forecast for the next few days, so I plan on making some headway….
