O Joyous Spring!

This painting is a view of how I wish it looked here. That’s my dear, old cat, Picasso, rolling in ecstasy. In reality, we’re still deep in the cold, dark, snowy winter (see below). At least I got the feeling of a warm, spring day while painting this.

  1. Yes – Greetings from Fairbanks. They have had record snows over the last 12 days we have been here .. and it is supposed to snow until Wednesday. – another 12 – 18 inches.

    It “doesn’t snow” in Fairbanks. The sky is supposed to be clear and auroras plentiful. We continue to get notifications about aurora; however, the reality is most nights have been filled with clouds.

    Be sure to check out my FB group for photos of the sculptures from Ice Alaska. There are people here from your state – people who were trained to sculpt ice at the community college near Detroit.
