I didn’t know what else to call this, so “Winter Still Life” will have to do for now. It’s been good to have an indoor project going. It’s been dreadfully cold and snowy here lately. Blizzards! Zero degrees! Back in my youth (ha ha) I would have bundled up and trudged through snowdrifts and ice pileups to crank out a plein air landscape or two. Alas, the galleries around here don’t like winter, so I get to wimp out in my warm studio most of the time. With the cats.
I finally was able to photograph the bunny that’s been coming to nibble on sunflower seeds. I laid out a carrot for him today. Rabbits have been scarce, thanks to the coyote population explosion.
