Can you tell I’m fascinated by that pumpkin? Yesterday I set up a still life with some Indian corn and an ancient tapestry of some sort. This is what it looks like at the end of Day 2 (above). Day 1 was nothing all that special (below). I’m using a 24×48″ canvas. I took extra care to measure things out and get them drawn in carefully. That fabric is going to be a challenge, but I always say that.
It’s a good time to switch over to still lifes. Winter’s coming, Rain and snow! I like being in the studio with a cat or two. Here’s a shot of the view this afternoon out my studio window:
