“Sunflowers”

I set up my easel in the veggie garden every morning at 8:30. By 10:30 I was done — the sun had risen over the ridge, flooding the whole scene in dazzling light. All the colors, highlights and shadows were different, so I had to quit. Glad I got it finished this morning because we’re due for several days of rain.
