“The Re-Arranger”

“The Re-Arranger” — oil on canvas 24×30″ by Margie Guyot

That’s Mr. Wonderful. He loves to jump up onto my still life setups and shove things around as he sees fit. He was especially vigorous on this one. From day to day, things looked totally different. Especially when both cats decided to take over the space. I had to just wing it, far as the design in the fabric went. Quite a challenge, but I finally reached the what-the-hell stage and just had to improvise. Rather freeing…

What’s new today? The rose in the lower right corner. It’d been just a blank tabletop. I decided to add it to help make the design flow more circular. And with that, I’m done!

Here’s Mr. Wonderful in action:

And here’s Picasso (also on my setup). He’s not quite as guilty as Mr. Wonderful.
