It was a good day to hole up in a fairly cool studio, painting cat feet. And fur. Mr. Wonderful is kind of a porker, with big feet. He loves laying on top of my still life setups and shoving things out of the way so he can sprawl. So this painting is about him.
That fabric (a fabulous woven shawl from an estate sale) has been rearranged so much I just couldn’t follow the patterns exactly. So today I finally started just winging it. Kind of fun. Here’s how things look at the end of Day 6:
