After months & months of cloudy skies and relentless snowstorms, we’ve finally had a couple beautiful, spring days here. So I’ve been busy, working around the yard, neglecting my art. But they’re calling for 2″ of snow here tonight, so that’ll mean I’ll probably be back in the studio tomorrow.
I added more leaves to the begonia today, giving hints of where the flowers will be. I don’t know what variety of begonia this is, but I’m always happy when my “snowbird friend” drops it off for me to baby-sit over the winter.
Ever try to paint cats? Well, then you surely must know that getting them to pose is impossible. Hence, I must rely on photos for that. Here Mr. Wonderful and Picasso are lounging on my setup. They have such a hard life….
