“Always Room for Pie”

“Always Room for Pie” — oil on canvas 24×48″ by Margie Guyot

OK — I guess this is about as done as I care to make it. I painted the slices of pie entirely from memory. The easiest things to paint were the pears. That fabric was a killer! The zinnias are silk, so there was no worry about painting them before they died. I should probably re-photograph this because the right side looks rather dark. The left side was nearest the windows. But I guess you can get the general idea.

And here’s my dear Picasso in his usual spot, supervising.
