Day 1: Fruit & Feathers

Who knew plastic fruit could be such a lifesaver? When it’s dark, dreary, cold and nasty(!), having some good-old plastic peaches, pears & grapes can be a darn good thing — at least for an artist. I’m pairing them with some turkey feathers I’d scavanged in the woods. And there we go with the crazy fabric again. It was a fabulous Haystacks find. Alas, that store’s gone “tasteful & conservative” again, so their scarves are sadly back to ho-hum..…
