Made a LOT of headway on this today! The sun came out for a while in the afternoon and kind of threw all the colors & shadows off, so I hiked around in the snowy field, looking at deer tracks. Thought about setting up my easel and doing a plein air, but soon the clouds rolled back in and got things to looking “more normal”. Yeah, when you’re used to days & days of dark, gloomy weather — and the sun comes out in full glory, it’s almost annoying……
