I over-did it this morning out in the berry patch. I’d been working for days, pruning the extremely-vigorous blackberry bushes. The sun was hot and I stayed at it a bit too long. Had to come in and crash on the recliner. Picasso (my #1 cat) climbed up and nursed me a while. Basically I felt too exhausted until hours later. It was about 4:30 when I made myself get up and go painting. The snow will be flying before we know it!
Since it would be getting dark fairly soon, I didn’t want to drive far. I just turned out onto my road and went over the hill and saw this view of my neighbor’s farm. I’ve painted it a number of times over the years and still find it a lovely spot.
