The apple festivals are looming ahead in Michigan, so I thought I should get cracking and paint some more of the little 6×6″ canvases. Lots of fruit markets in this area. I stop in and pick out one or two pretty ones. I’ll paint an apple, then turn it slightly, then paint again. I’ve only had a couple days so far to work on these. Happy to have a sit-down project going — I’d taken a tumble several weeks ago and it’s “whipped the snot outta me”, as they say.
