Day 4 on this one. The sky had been red this morning, so I was surprised I was able to get out and paint this morning. That old “red sky in the morning – sailors take warning” saying. Long about 9:30 the sun came over the hill and shone on the scene I was trying to paint. I try to work fast as possible, but after about just one hour, the light is totally different. So I have to quit.
I still have a bit of work to do on both the left and right sides. Hoping the rain holds off for another day or two.
