“Caladiums”

Is any painting ever really finished? I’m calling this one “done”. There are a couple little spots to be touched up in a day or so, but everything’s too gooey-wet to touch. I deliberately mussed up the fabric to obscure the fact that it was covered with a Chinese foo dog design. The colors were ideal, but I wanted the caladiums to get all the attention. And wrinkles fascinate me. Ahhh — I love a good struggle!
