
I guess by now you’ve figured out this is my favorite place to paint. Guyer Creek twists all through my property. Much of the land is swampy, thanks to the emerald ash borer coming through this area. Ash trees died, leaving fewer trees to “suck up the water”. I’ve been planting birch, tamarack and sycamore trees, so maybe in 50 years things will be normalized.
I’ve also had 3 bridges built across this creek. They come in handy at times. Notice my setup:
