The Swamp — Springtime

I started a series – the Swamp Series – last winter, so here’s the Spring edition. Notice the cattails in the background. They appear in all seasons, some the worse for wear. Young green leaves are shooting up now and the old, grizzled “cats” are slowly disintigrating. All of these paintings were done on Brant Road, off Old Dixie Highway, just south of Norwood. I painted this several days ago, after working “like a dawg!” in my yard. Just now getting around to posting.
