I love Mud Puddles

The snow’s finally melted. The grass is turning green. Serviceberries are in bloom. And around here, that means it’s morel season. This morning I went out to hunt morels with a neighbor woman on some property I own. Turns out it’s just a teeny bit early right here. Maybe next week the morels will be popping. And thank goodness I’d packed my painting gear! I saw this magnificent group of mud puddles and just HAD to paint it! I liked the reflections of trees in the puddles. And the tiny edging of “sparklies”. Ah — I could paint mud puddles all day long…..
