“Peppa” and “Edge of the Orchard”

“Peppa” — oil on canvas 16×20″ by Margie Guyot

It’s been a few days since I’ve posted anything. Turns out my modem was going bad. I couldn’t get online. A new one’s on the way. Meanwhile, I’ve been working on about 4 things all at the same time. Plus setting out lawn furniture, raking the yard, etc. Spring seems to have come early and I’m trying to do everything all at once!

In reality, the photo I had to work from showed Peppa in a snowbank. Poooh on that! Dandelions are so much cheerier.

This afternoon is a plein air I did out in my orchard. We’d hardly seen any sunshine all winter here, and I just HAD to get out in it and paint something! Crocuses are blooming! Robins are singing!

Actually, there are a couple other things I’ve also been working on this weekend. Will post tomorrow….
