As soon as I walked into the studio this morning I could see what was wrong: the cat’s body was too large for his head. I spent a couple hours to re-drew it. I’ll have to wait until tomorrow to put in his whiskers and fine hairs. Meanwhile, I started painting in some of the background trees, using some of my plein air studies for a reference. Picasso, the cat, still won’t pose for me. Stubborn boy! Had to use a photo.
