It was a perfect day — and the clouds! How could I NOT paint today? If you’ve been following my blog for years, you’d recognize this spot. I’ve painted this view many times, in different seasons. It’s close to Shooks Farm, where they make wine and have U-Pick cherries and apples. It doesn’t show up too well in this photo, but on the left side of the road the blue cornflowers were in full bloom. And here’s my setup:
