After a quickie trip (ha ha) into Traverse City at 7 AM this morning, I plopped myself down in the studio and worked all the rest of the day. I was hell-bent on coloring in my pigs. I considered buying some fresh sweet corn in the grocery store, but it was expensive. And trimmed up “too prettily”. Alas — I can’t eat it anymore. Doing keto. Well, I’ve got some paintings of sweet corn last summer that I’ll use for reference. The fun just never ends!
Here’s my setup. I used dried Indian corn to get an idea for the composition. I’ll be faking it from here on out.
