“Orange Roses”

“Orange Roses” — oil on canvas 24 x 48″ by Margie Guyot

This is just the type of painting that some people will look at and scream it’s too complicated! Well, yes, of course. But life is like that. I’d say it’s symbolic of the world — how there’s the tendency to give a cursory glance at everything, making snap judgements. But for the few who take a few extra moments, things – the world – can be quite interesting. I think life is like a carnival.

  1. you’r pushing it Margie; almost kaos (sp) caos? oh well, its another stunner; a home run, 1st prize in the million $ lottery. etc etcetc etc etc and more etc. When in NYC I visit MOMA, after 1/2 hour I get goofy; to much overload.
