90+ degree heat. Clouds of dust. Mini-bulldozers, gravel trucks, creating a royal ruckus (and a new driveway) while I plug away on fabric folds, figuring out stripes. The monkeys are antiques. Made from leather. Found them at my #1 favorite store: Dead People’s Stuff. Decided it was high time they were used in a painting.
